- Software Architecture Technology :
Develop Software Architecture technologies that establish and maintain
long-term architectural control of the embedded system software, enabling the efficient development of increasingly
complex software, resulting in benchmark time-to-market metrics. Our current and future research areas are :
- Develop an Architecture that is flexible and scalable, is "Platform Independent", enables the independent
validation of its subsystems, enables establishing a Software Product Line, and enables establishing
Competency Centers (distributed development)
- Specify the initial Platform for the deployment of the Architecture
- Investigate and prototype future Platforms
- System Engineering Technology :
Develop System Engineering technologies that defines the requirements
between DPD systems and customers, producing streamlined integration and high customer value.
Our current and future research areas are :
- Establish product line requirements and process
- Develop clear performance criteria and measurement processes
- Ease of Use and Product Coherence standards
- Alignment of SW architecture and controller architecture as a controller system
- System partitioning and external interfaces
- Solution Software Technology :
Develop Solution Software technologies that identifies technologies required to
enable solutions and establish requirements and deployment methods, enabling penetration in new markets.
Our current and future research areas are :
- Define the required solutions to compete and technologies to prepare for future environment
- Establish functionality requirements for the devices enabling internal or 3rd Party solution offerings
- Architect the device interface for solutions
- Product system SW architecture supporting solutions
- Investigate and prototype future Solution Platforms
